In this third instalment of Warped, we're gifted with the same humour and similar save-the-day plot。 But a certain someone made it ten times better。 That's right。 Our favourite Ghost - as you would've guessed by the title - makes a special guest appearance ;) As with the previous books, I absolutely loved Kit's hilarious commentary。 I found myself laughing to myself like a weirdo on my bed past midnight every time he cracked a funny joke (thankfully I didn't wake anyone up)。The story is once aga In this third instalment of Warped, we're gifted with the same humour and similar save-the-day plot。 But a certain someone made it ten times better。 That's right。 Our favourite Ghost - as you would've guessed by the title - makes a special guest appearance ;) As with the previous books, I absolutely loved Kit's hilarious commentary。 I found myself laughing to myself like a weirdo on my bed past midnight every time he cracked a funny joke (thankfully I didn't wake anyone up)。The story is once again fast-paced and action-packed。 Kit and Lienna are on the hunt for a kidnapper。 It gets very interesting, especially once the Ghost is thrown into the mix and with him, some questionable morals about breaking laws/rules。 😨What I enjoyed about this book was how everything wasn't clear-cut。 It wasn't simple。 Nothing was black and white。 Kit had to make some tough choices。 He and Lienna had to learn the hard way what teamwork truly involved。 I felt like I was a part of the story with them, anxiously wondering how they would solve the case。 And of course, Kit's unique ability to warp minds was a👏ma👏zing👏 as usual。 I definitely wouldn't want him as an enemy ;) An extra added bonus were some tie-ins with the other series, which I think fans of the other Guild Codex series will enjoy。Now keenly awaiting the next book because I can't get enough of Kit and Lienna in my life <3 ALSO ZAK'S BOOK IS NEXT MONTH。 MY HEART。(I was given an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review) 。。。more

This is the third book in this series by Annette Marie and her writing partner Rob Jacobsen。 The first thing I have to say is I didn’t think it could get better and I was so wrong。 First off, I love how much Kit is growing as a character。 He comes to some interesting realizations about himself and his power that will hopefully empower him in the future。 Next, I just adored his almost-crush on a surprise ally; it was just so cute。 Add to that, we get to see glimpses of characters from other serie This is the third book in this series by Annette Marie and her writing partner Rob Jacobsen。 The first thing I have to say is I didn’t think it could get better and I was so wrong。 First off, I love how much Kit is growing as a character。 He comes to some interesting realizations about himself and his power that will hopefully empower him in the future。 Next, I just adored his almost-crush on a surprise ally; it was just so cute。 Add to that, we get to see glimpses of characters from other series while they intertwine their plots, making a complex and fascinating plot。 This was the best book so far in the series (it’s very Gouda! "Magic" I suggested。 That wasn't a joke because, you know, he was very magical。 。。。more

I wondered how some charaters met now i have the answers and simply i want to rearead the rest to see what little hints i could have missed that's great!!!But let's focus on this great story first: There are a lot of action, investigation and suspense but also a good dosis of Humour all wonderfully mixed。 Kit an Lienna are charged to find missing teenagers and other people while staying out of the book per Blythe orders or to be more exact those orders are to apprehend the Ghost, famous rogue, who is behind those kidnapping in Blythe's opinion。。。。We do see Kit personnality showing more, he is douting his abilities but with Zak's help as well as Lienna's he is starting to get more mature realising that brute force is not his things but he definitively must be taken seriously。。。。。。he also starts deciding what is better for him and what limites he accepts。 We do learn about his past as well or more exactly we see how it is affecting him。 I loved his evolution from the beginning of the series but also during this investigation。Lienna is a good Mdp but too strict in my opinion thankfully we learned the reason for that so we can understand her better but sometimes she simply disappointed me。。。ZAK oh Zak i absolutely love his his style , he is in gray zone for sure but he does have his own moral and code of honor。。。can't wait to seem him shake Lienna a bit moreThe one i hated and still do is captain Blythe。。。。。。。。。。really i can't stand herI really but really love this universes as a whole and this series it deserves to be discovered and i can't recommend it more to urban fantasy lovers it's a real must read 。。。more

Seriously, if you like hilarious Urban Fantasy, characters you want to hang out with, and losing precious hours of sleep, give this series a chance。 You won’t regret it! Some of my favorite quotes: “You’ve got the accuracy of a drunken mosquito in a hurricane。”Best case scenario, something dastardly was afoot。 Worst case scenario, I got falafels。 “Short, bald, glasses。 Looks like a Muppet。”“Does he look like a Corey Feldman Minecraft avatar?”My pretend crush on his unholy, broody hunkiness might’ve just shifted closer to reality。 They were about two seconds away from an explosive magical melee in the middle of a public parking garage, which would be less than ideal for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which being that Zak would end our mortal existence and I didn’t want to die next to a 1994 maroon Hyundai。 Preaching to the choir, bud。 But she’s got a serious hate-boner for him, so we’re about two minutes away from SWAT-teaming through his front door。”“It looks like someone crossbred an anglerfish with Godzilla and raised the offspring in a meth lab。” 。。。more
